These terms apply to irisharoundoz.com, jobs.irisharoundoz.com and the Irish Around Oz premium advertising services. Irish Around Oz is operated by Palmer Productions LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the website or buying a subscription you agree to these terms.
1. The website and guides
The articles and guides on this site are general information based on personal experience and research. They are not legal, financial, tax or migration advice. Visa rules, prices and processes change often. Always check with the relevant Australian government department or a registered professional before acting. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of information on this site.
2. Facebook groups
The Irish Around Oz Facebook groups are free communities moderated by volunteers. Each group has its own rules, shown in the group. Admins may remove posts or members at their discretion, including for spam, scams, abuse or unpaid commercial posting. Membership of a group is not a service we sell and is not guaranteed.
3. Premium job advertising
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in Australian dollars through Stripe. Prices are shown on the job advertising page and may change for new subscriptions.
- A subscription gives your named posters (up to 5) pre-approval to post job listings in the Irish Around Oz Facebook groups and free listings on the job board. Set-up is done manually after payment and normally takes less than one working day.
- Posts must be genuine job vacancies or, where agreed, business promotion. We may decline or remove posts that are misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, unrelated to the subscription, or that break Facebook’s rules.
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected] or through your Stripe billing link. Cancellation stops future charges. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Payments already made are not refunded, except where we have failed to provide the service. If a subscription renewed by mistake and you have not posted in that period, contact us within 7 days and we will refund or credit it.
- Reach figures (group member counts, employer numbers) are indicative and change over time. We do not guarantee applications, hires or a particular number of views.
4. Job board
Listings on jobs.irisharoundoz.com are posted by employers and recruiters. We do not verify every listing. Never pay money to apply for a job, and report anything suspicious to us. Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.
5. Discounts and affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Discount codes and offers are provided by the partner and may be changed or withdrawn by them at any time.
6. Content and intellectual property
Text, images and design on this site belong to Palmer Productions LLC or are used with permission. You may share links freely. Please don’t copy articles or images without asking.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this website, the groups, the job board or the advertising services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
