PAY SLIPS REQUIRED FOR 2ND WORKING HOLIDAY VISA APPLICATIONS
Starting 31 August 2015(don’t worry if you did it prior!), payslips must be provided with 2nd year Working Holiday Visa applications. Be sure to subscribe to the blog for weekly updates.
This will help the Department of Immigration and Border Protection ensure that work completed by working holiday makers is performed in accordance with workplace law.
Note: Australian employers are legally required to provide their employees with pay slips.
Work performed prior to 31 August 2015 will not require pay slip evidence.
Pay slips need to show that the working holiday maker’s specified work was paid work and that the pay received meets the basic pay entitlements employees should receive when working in Australia.
NOTE: Voluntary work will not be accepted for this purpose.
