County Galway Voted Worlds Friendliest City

County Galway Voted Worlds Friendliest City February 5, 2016

I moved to Australia in 2013 and created this blog to help Irish people living in Australia. 10 million visitors later it now has evolved into a job board, flight company and offers support with many services Irish people need when they move to Australia. Pop over to my resources page(irisharoundoz.com/resources) to find every service and product I recommend. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you here again.

Not only that but Sydney and Melbourne are also in the list. We sure like to pick friendly places to live in :)

Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, said today:

Again and again, our research shows us that the friendliness of our people is one of our unique selling points. It is the warm welcome and the ‘craic’ here that resonates with our overseas visitors and makes our cities, and the island of Ireland, such a great choice for a short break or holiday.

Well done Ireland + Australia!

The top ten friendliest cities are:

1. Galway

2. Charleston, North Carolina

3. Dublin

4. Cork

5. Siem Reap, Cambodia
