I moved to Australia in 2013 and created this blog to help Irish people living in Australia. 10 million visitors later it now has evolved into a job board, flight company and offers support with many services Irish people need when they move to Australia. Breaking visa news

It has been reported that as of July 1st, Chefs, Bricklayers and Tilers will be added to the Skilled Occupation List (SOL)

This change means that if workers in the above-mentioned occupations can reach the required points for a independent skilled visa, they may be applicable for Permanent Residency, without requiring an Employer or State to sponsor them.

Additionally

Senators Michaelia Cash and Andrew Robb have announced that NO occupations will be removed from the SOL. It will stay as it is. Awesome news!

Special thanks to Bravo Migration letting us know as soon as this happened.
