This year more than 80 teams from NUI Galway, UCC and Trinity College Dublin took part in the weekend-long event, but now a handful of teams are finding it difficult to get back home.
Kyryll Chulak and Salim Sebaoui, medical students from Trinity College Dublin, were the overall winners of the annual Jailbreak student charity event. They made it from Dublin to Sydney!
This year’s student-organised event has already raised €34,490 for Amnesty International and St Vincent de Paul.

Twitter played a major role in getting the students from A – B, they are using many hashtags mainly #jailbreak14.
Sounds like a pretty good fun and i’d say the event will only get bigger each year, wish we had heard about it sooner.
