It’s not the first time the reptile has made an indoor appearance.

Ms Hibberd said she spotted it about 15 years ago when she was having a shower.

She claims it poked its head into the bathroom.

“Its frigging (sic) huge! Have it locked in bedroom waiting for help……my life is never boring” Ms Hibberd posted to social media alongside a clip of the snake.

“We’ve got a visitor, and it’s f—ing huge, I mean, it’s very big.”

Snake catch David Goodwin was even taken aback, claiming it to be the largest serpent

Her Mission Beach home is situated between Townsville and Cairns.
